UPDATE: Min says Russian govt to decide on pensions indexation ’19 Thu

MOSCOW, Jul 9 (PRIME) -- The Russian government’s commission for budget planning will decide on the rate of pensions’ indexation in 2019 on Thursday, Labor and Social Protection Minister Maxim Topilin told reporters on Monday.

“We are literally introducing the last amendments with the Finance Ministry… A meeting of the government’s commission for budget planning will be held in a few days, on Thursday, and we will make a final decision on this matter (indexation of pensions) before submitting the budget plan for three years to the Pension Fund,” Topilin said.

He also said that pensions’ growth will not stop after 2024. “We absolutely presume that the growth of pensions will continue, it cannot stop.”
